About RMD Studio
Why a stove designer
builds websites.
The short answer: the work needed websites. Then other projects did too.
Where it started
From product pages
to community projects.
Rocket Man Designs has its roots in combustion and product development. Alongside that work came websites to explain the products, tools to explore designs, and interfaces for seeing energy readings more clearly.
Community work brought a different set of needs: sharing local information, helping people find one another and giving a project a place to be seen. The Minyon Resilience Network, PermaBrella and Roots & Rivers Collective belong in that part of the story.
RMD Studio gives this work its own front door: a place to explore examples, compare packages and plan your next website.

Help visitors find what they need
and get in touch
Who is visiting? What are they looking for? What should happen next? Those questions shape the content, navigation and features before the site grows complicated.
We value a site that feels like the people behind it. Rebuilds keep what is worth keeping; new sites start with the purpose and material you have. Extra features are scoped when they have a job to do.
The engineering and digital work share a maker’s curiosity. Here, the test is how clearly people can find, understand and use what they need.
